‘To love is to tolerate, to give and take’

— Cheng Yee Kin

By Jenny Wong

Cheng Yee Kin is an artist who has gone though different stages in his career.

He was once an actor in television commercials. According to him, it was an interesting experience and indeed a good chance to earn money.

Having taken a training course, he became a host on a children’s programme. At the very beginning, he did not like children. But he came to enjoy playing with children after a period of time.

In his experience, acting in a TV series was a challenge to one’s physical strength due to the tight schedule.

He is now a singer. Singing on stage allows him to have direct contact with the audience. Their applause is a great encouragement to him, although the pressure also is greater. He has even participated in the film industry recently.
