Hong Kong Sevens Thrills

After three days of fierce competition among 24 teams from different countries, New Zealand eventually defeated Fiji 19-17 and won the Cup Championship of the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens 1996.

The 21st annual event sttracted a huge audience that filled Hong Kong Stadium to overflow capacity. Though no one fell victim to the traditional custom of running across the pitch in the nude, all rugby enthusiasts enjoyed themselves in different ways.
