COVER STORY

Sweating in the Sun

Photos and text by Kyle Hung

Hong Kong is often described as a cultural desert, where people are indifferent to cultural activities and art. To change people's views of art, the Fringe Club organised outdoor activities during its recent art festival -- Fringe '98. One of them was at the Sha Tin Town Hall podium. The audience witnessed the samba, modern dance, jazz, and mimes.
