Photo and text by May Chan and Natalie Siu

Without a doubt, people go to the theatre to see movies. Besides the movie itself, there are many things that are equally as interesting. With the springing up of modern cinemas, people seldom use a wax pen to mark tickets. Instead, everything is computerized. Even the traditional way of choosing a seat has been replaced by computerized seat assignments. The traditional characteristics are fading. However, some traditions are still preserved. For example, people still like buying popcorn when going to see a movie. It is probably one of the most popular activities people do when they go to see a movie.
