Fighting fires is hard and risky. A brave heart is not enough. At Pak Heung Fire Service Training School, there are 140 firemen in training. Among them are officers and cadets who are receiving intensive instruction.

They arise at 6:30 a.m. and attend a series of lectures and go through practical exercises.

Not until 5 p.m. do they finish their daily training and have some free time. After six months of training, they graduate from the school. But this does not mean their harsh existence has ended. Rather, they have to accept real challenges which are even harsher.
