Traditional teahouses are unique in appearence and operation. Although they are gradually being replaced by modern food outlets, many elderly people still hang out in the few remaining teahouses - not necessarily because of the tea and dim sum, but possibly because of the friendships that have been built up among other customers and the waiters.
As nearly all of the teahouses have been pulled down now, many customers have lost their social gathering spot. All that remains is joyful memories.
